Thrasher Family Endowed Scholarship

James Brantley Thrasher, M.D. and Laura L. Thrasher graduated from MUSC with medical and nursing degrees, respectively, and their degrees with the help of student loans, scholarships and the military. MUSC started their careers in health care and made it possible to provide for their families try to give back to MUSC and support those applicants fortunate enough to be accepted into the school of medicine. The criteria for selection will be financial need, with preference given to a South Carolina resident, who has graduated from Clemson University.

• Awarded to an incoming student with continuation, pending satisfactory academic and professionalism progress.
