Jack Cochran Endowed Scholarship

Colonel Henry J. “Jack” Cochran graduated from Emory in 1960 and was commissioned into the US Air Force as a second lieutenant, where he enjoyed an extraordinary and distinguished career. After moving to Charleston, he experienced health problems and received care at MUSC. Colonel Cochran’s wife, Virginia, and family, including his daughter (Cathy) and son-in-law, Dr. David Cole, President of MUSC, established this scholarship as a tribute to his extraordinary life.
