Fairey/Strait Medical Heritage Endowed Scholarship

Established by the late Dr. Philip W. Fairey, Jr. (Class of 1943), and the late Dr. William Francis Strait, III (Class of 1953), and Dr. F. Strait Fairey, Jr., (Class of 1971) to honor the many members of their families who were in the medical profession. This scholarship is awarded to outstanding students in the College of Medicine “whose presence will enrich the entire University and whose contributions as physicians and citizens will bring distinction to their profession, alma mater, and communities in which they live and serve.

Selection Criteria:

• Awarded to an incoming student with continuation, pending satisfactory academic and professionalism progress
