Marvesh Mendi Endowed AFN Scholarship

Dr. Marvesh Mendhi, a 1993 graduate of the AFN (Anesthesia for Nurses) program in the College of Health Professions, as well as a 2017 PhD graduate of the MUSC Nursing program, has spent the better part of her professional years as a dedicated healthcare expert with a particular focus on global health.

In establishing this scholarship fund, Dr. Mendhi envisions providing opportunities for AFN students who seek to make a tangible difference in global health initiatives. Her passion is helping others and especially assisting those who demonstrate a genuine need. For this reason, Dr. Mendhi has established this fund as an endowment designed to grow into perpetuity.

Requirements:

• First or Second year Anesthesia for Nurses student pursuing an interest in global health
• Good Academic Standing
