D.G. Askins, Jr. M.D. Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established through the generous gifts from family, friends, colleagues, and students in honor of Dr. D. G. “Glen” Askins. Dr. Askins received his bachelor’s from Wofford College and his MD from MUSC. This scholarship honors Dr. Askins’ passion for the medical profession and his commitment to excellence in the areas of education, service, and clinical care.

Selection Criteria:

  • Second year PA student
  • Academic performance
  • Volunteer and/or Work Experience
  • Financial need
