Marianna Stuart Mason Endowed Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship funds incoming Ph.D. nursing students with financial need who maintains a 3.0 GPA or greater for the duration of program. This scholarship is renewable, and will be awarded for a maximum of 3 years of full-time or 4 years of part-time program participation. In furtherance of the University’s commitment to improve health outcomes for all South Carolinians and to encourage those who are inspired to serve in rural, economically disadvantaged, or medically underserved communities, this scholarship is offered with preference given to individuals who are first generation in their family to attend college, from a rural area, and/or with service history in rural areas or medically underserved areas. Additional positive consideration will be given to applicants who are actively involved in initiatives that promote the development of leadership.
